Time for a refresh!

You know that feeling, like no matter what you do to your hair, the only thing that will really make it better is to go get it DONE!

I finally was able to do that Saturday morning. Up, bright and early for a 7am appointment and I couldn't be happier.

I think I only go to the salon maybe twice a year, but when I do, I usually do all over color with some type of low-lights or hi-lights. I also really like the Paul Mitchell products... even though they are expensive, I see the quality in the color even months after its been done. Normally I will go with a color close to my natural so that the roots come in and sorta blend :)

New hair for me and a refreshed look to my blog. I'm enjoying this! You know what else is refreshing?! When your husband takes the kids to the store with him! That's right... your husband, with three little girls under the age of 6. They just want to buy everything. 


I needed Matt to pick up a couple of things at the store and the girls heard he was leaving, so they begged to go with him. He agreed, as long as they got ready quickly! So on went clean clothes, shoes and brushes through hair. This was the result of their 5 minute dash...

Needless to say, Isabel added the bow to her head AFTER I got her ready! They were so excited to go with their Daddy... they had a great time, and I got an hour to clean the house while it wasn't being ransacked by those cute kids!

We spent the evening with great people, Jeff & Rosa and some new friends, Adam and Jennifer, that Matt met at the Z Fun Factory last weekend. We had a great time and I think Matt may have fed Jeff some cake at one point... there may also be a picture of this bromance...

Great weekend so far! Memorial Day is tomorrow, so we still have another day of refreshing to come :)
